The side entry to this home badly needed a refresh. Two layers of dated linoleum over the stairs and landing were beginning to peel and were generally worn. I replaced the treads and risers on the stairs and removed the linoleum from the landing. I was able to save the client money by repairing and saving the existing stair frame and installing planks of existing flooring on the landing. I suggested whitewashing the new stairs to match the look of that existing flooring. A fresh coat of paint on the surrounding walls and some new moulding gave the entrance an updated and welcoming look.
