The closet in this bathroom had a dark and heavy vintage door that was more appropriate for entry to a room. The closet also contained large and heavy hand-made drawers that were impractical for a bathroom closet.

I removed the old door and the heavy drawers and replaced them with a bi-fold louver door and open shelves. I had to add wainscotting and moulding on the short walls to the left and the right of the closet to match the rest of the bathroom, as well as a new vinyl foor on the closet. I also maximized the efficiency by installing a hanger for an ironing board and iron on the left side side of the closet, as well as a shelving rack for toiletries and medicine cabinet items on the right side.
